Bitubo Monoshock, 6-way adjust: Hydraulic Preload/Rebound/Dual Compression/Length/ - Red Spring
State-of-the-art technology and performance thanks to the innovations introduced in this shock absorber, dedicated to motorcycles with long stroke rear suspension., and created from the enthusiasm and great care taken by Bitubo R&D technicians.
Available with a sporty red spring ("11" code) or a more classic black spring ("21" code).
Spring adjustment is by hydraulic preload, which can be operated manually or with a 14mm hexagonal key (provided).
The compensation tank is separated from the body for better fluid cooling and more freedom in the mounting position. It is connected by a flexible hose, braided for very high pressure to improve the shock feedback and to increase grip and comfort.
Technical features:
- Nitrogen pressurised, with oil/gas floating piston in the compensation chamber
- 45mm damper body
- 16mm piston rod with anti-friction treatment and low friction bushing
- Upper and lower mountings made in aeronautical aluminium alloy on precision CNC machines
Adjustments:
- Low speed compression 24 clicks
- High speed compression 20 clicks
- Rebound 24 clicks
- Spring preload 12 mm = 24 clicks
- Length 8mm
Includes:
- Specific assembly instruction
- Suspension manual
Possible accessories:
- Ergal hand-wheel for preload adjuster.
- This handgrip has an ergonomic design with three lobes that make adjustment easier without the need of any uncomfortable tools. Available as spare part, it can be applied into all hydraulic preload mono shocks XXF-CLU-CYU and XZE series produced since 2009.

TW Suspension Tech are the UK's Leading Bitubo Specialists and Service Centre.
Bitubo Race Suspension are one of the leading manufacturers of high performance race suspension components in Europe. Founded in 1963 by Scipione Mardollo, Bitubo immediately established itself as a dynamic company on anything related to the control of vibrations of any type, creating cutting-edge, innovative damping systems. Bitubo extended its knowledge to applications such as artificial limbs, seismic dampers, damping systems for oceanic platforms, including vibration dampers for naval engines.
The quality and performance of their fork cartridge kits and race shocks is amongst the best. Since 1975, Bitubo has imposed itself at the forefront of the motorcycle market with the innovation of a famous pair of shock absorbers connected by two compensating rubber pipes – hence the name “Bitubo” – that were immediately adopted and raced by the greatest Champions
